Vince & Joe’s Donates $55,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research

Vince & Joe’s has continually been committed to giving back to the community. So far this year we have given to two nonprofits. In April Vince & Joe’s presented a check for $55,000 to Kimberly Blackmon and George Allen with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC. This donation supports St. Jude’s extraordinary mission of research, treatment and prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases and shows our continued commitment to St. Jude.

For more than a decade Vince & Joe’s has been supporting St. Jude’s mission with – Bread, the Staff of Life – campaign, proceeds from the sale of the reusable bags along with customer donations which Vince & Joe’s matches dollar for dollar. This year’s total donation of $55,000, is above and beyond any donation made thus far making the total donated more than $150,000.

In May Vince & Joe’s presented a check for $17,500 to Eddie Murray of Hope Network Center, one of Michigan’s largest nonprofits supporting Autism services, bringing the total given to them more than $50,000. Vince & Joe’s raises funds for Hope Network through the sale of Emma’s Hope sauces along with donations taken during the month of April. Co-owner Joe Vitale’s granddaughter Emma, 12, has Autism and the family knows first-hand how much the Hope Network does for families across Michigan.

Donations like these are a way for the Vitale family to give back to the community while helping organizations that help so many.
