Vince & Joe’s Presents Check to St. Jude Research Hospital

CLINTON TOWNSHIP – Vince and Joe’s Gourmet Market presented a check for $30,000 to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, ALSAC, on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the Clinton Township location. Kailey Vowles, Development Officer for St. Jude Research Hospital, ALSAC accepted the donation with excitement and gratitude. This donation will support St. Jude’s extraordinary mission of research, treatment and prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases.

For more than a decade Vince and Joe’s has been supporting St. Jude’s mission during its anniversary week with – Bread, the Staff of Life – campaign. To date Vince and Joe’s has donated over $100,000 to St. Jude’s. Donations come from 50 percent of one week of sales of the Vince and Joe’s housemade Italian breads along with customer donations at the register. This year, Vince and Joe’s matched the customer donations bringing the total donation to $30,000, above and beyond any donation made thus far. Vince and Joe’s recycled bags also have the St. Jude logo on them and a portion of all sales for both the shopping bag and the insulated food bag goes to St. Jude as well.

Both locations, Clinton Township and Shelby Township contributed to this donation. Vince and Joe’s employees and the Vitale family are very proud and thrilled with this year’s efforts. This campaign is one the whole company looks forward to doing each October.

At Vince and Joe’s Gourmet Markets customers can experience a tradition of excellence where only the best produce, meats, cheeses, wine, seafood, baked goods, imported and prepared foods are available, plus more.
