Turkey Meatballs

These are super delicious and moist, beef alternative meatballs that will keep the entire family craving more. Can easily double the recipe and freeze to use for lunch or dinner. Add marinara and whole wheat pasta for a great meal.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces ground turkey
  • ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Marinade:
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. Place turkey, panko, Worcestershire, Italian seasoning, onion powder and salt in a medium bowl; mix gently until just combined. (Do not overmix.)
  2. Roll the mixture into 12 meatballs (about 2 heaping tablespoons each).
  3. Pre-Heat oven to 350 In a parchment lined sheet pan, add the meatballs and place in oven, cook until an instant-read thermometer inserted in the center registers 165°F, about 15 minutes.
  4. Combine all marinade ingredients in a small bowl or a freezer bag.
  5. Add 1 pound of chicken or pork and marinate at least 1 hour or up to 6 hours.
  6. Grill, bake, or broil as desired.
  7. Use as a salad dressing or to make roasted vegetables more flavorable.
