A Cold One: Your Guide to Summer’s Best Craft Beers at Vince & Joe’s

A cold beer on a hot summer day is more than a summer tradition and at a backyard barbecue the number one ingredient is not meat – it’s beer! Beer is essential to the summer and with the variety of beers now available it’s no wonder the shelves at Vince & Joe’s have grown to include so many different brands.

Craft beer sales in the U.S. have risen overall with sales of national and imports actually declining. At the end of 2022, according to the Brewers Association, there were just under 10,000 craft brewers in America producing more than 24 million barrels of beer a year. Every year the amount of breweries has gone up, with Michigan now ranking in the top ten of the U.S. with more than 400 breweries throughout the state. And locally in the surrounding communities of Macomb, Oakland and St. Clair counties, there are approximately 50 craft brewers.

So to make finding your favorite craft beer, imported beer or specialty beer easy be sure to visit Vince & Joe’s Beer & Wine department. Our managers, Carl at the Shelby Township location and Matt at the Clinton Township location, will be able to help you. They have extensive experience and knowledge of the craft beer industry. From the darkest stout to a summertime shandy either one will be able to help you select the best.
