Vince & Joe's Gourmet Market Presents Record $70,000 Donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
SHELBY TWP, Mich. — Feb. 24, 2026 — Vince & Joe’s Gourmet Market recently presented a donation of $70,000 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude. The check presentation took place on Feb. 24, 2026 at the Shelby Township store celebrating a longstanding partnership between the grocer and the national nonprofit.
The donation is the result of a variety of fundraising methods taking place last year including sales from reusable shopping bags and in-house baked artisan bread though the annual “Bread, the Staff of Life” campaign, in-store events, and customer donations matched by Vince & Joe’s. Over the past decade years, the market has raised more than $285,000 in support of St. Jude’s mission reflecting its commitment to giving back to the community.
“Supporting St. Jude has been part of who we are for more than a decade and one our customers and team members have embraced year after year,” said Elisa Vitale, Manager, Vince & Joe’s Gourmet Market. “Together, we’re proud to stand alongside families facing an incredibly difficult health crisis and help them focus on what matters most, their child.”

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its purpose is clear: Finding cures. Saving children.® It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80% in the United States, and it won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes to help doctors and researchers at local hospitals and cancer centers around the world improve the quality of treatment and care for even more children. Because of generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, so they can focus on helping their child live.
