Grilled Sea Scallops w/ Honey Garlic Glaze
• 6-8 large sea scallops
• ½ cup honey
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 3 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
• ¼ teaspoon paprika
• ¼ teaspoon black pepper
• Pinch of salt
o Season the scallops with a little bit of kosher salt and drizzle of olive oil. Set aside.
o To make the glaze: Combine the honey, oil, vinegar, paprika, pepper and salt
o Whisk well
o Grill the scallops over medium – low heat with a well greased and clean grated. The scallops will require about 4 – 5 minutes per side at this low temperature. Normally, I wouldn’t suggest brushing a sugary glaze over meat until the end, but the low hearing and glazing makes a very light sweet crust on the scallops. So baste every time you turn them. Once they have a golden sticky brown crust they are ready to enjoy!

“100% Sauvignon Blanc from the place that does it right. Crisp, clean, high acid white with a prominent flavor of lemon, with some smoky notes on the nose. A dream with shellfish.”
